| Yard is a visual effects studio based in Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles. Our services include compositing, motion graphics, set supervision, CGI and original content. Recent work includes effects for Yes Man, Religulous, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Pineapple Express, Knocked up and Borat as well as work on music videos for the Shins and Thom Yorke. Yard VFX work has appeared in award winning films that have screened at such festivals as the 2005 sundance film festival, the 2005 and 2007 Cannes Film Festival and on numerous broadcast networks. JALAL JEMISONJalal is a writer, director and visual effects artist that divides his time between Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles. Recent work includes Lead Compositor for Thome Yorke’s music video Harrowdown Hill, Visual FX for Sasha’s Cohen’s Borat, Visual Effects and Animation for Me and You and Everyone We Know directed by Miranda July, and Visual FX for Gus Van Sant’s Paranoid Park. He also once wrestled a gorilla and has half an ear to prove it. SCOTT M. DAVIDSScott Davids is a visual effects artist, animator and editor living in Los Angeles, California. His credits include, Knocked Up, Borat, Me and You and Everyone We Know, The Chronicles of Riddick and Along Came Polly. He also wrestled a gorilla and bit that gorilla’s ear off. ADAM LONGBorn and raised in the North East side of the country Adam moved to Portland about 7 years ago. Adam is a motiongraphics artist, editor, and director. Adam’s animation “Little Atomic Bomb” has been featured in Stash magazine and motionographer.com as well as playing in festivals around the world. He has also directed television commercials, and a music video for the band “A Weather.” Adam enjoys watching movies and playing with his dog Angie BENJAMIN LOCKEBen is an Emmy award winning motion designer with 12 years of experience in broadcast design. Areas of expertise include concept and creative direction, broadcast station i.d., title design, 30 sec. commercials, and opens for documentaries. He was the primary designer for clients such as National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and Apple Computer.
